Forward Ever

	One of the historic post independent landmarks, the establishment of Sainik Schools was a part of the effort to make Armed Forces more national in nature and spirit. The regional imbalance in Armed Forces could be removed only if every segment of the Indian strata was given the taste of an affordable education. The establishment of Sainik Schools was thus translation of plans from the drawing board into reality. So was born the chain of Sainik Schools in each state numbering twenty as on date.
Sainik School Tilaiya, founded on 16 Sept 1963, from humble beginnings is now a formidable academic force to reckon with in the comity of schools. National integration being one of the aims of the Sainik Schools, it was thought an attempt should be made to bring about an all round development of the cadets so that they can adapt to any surroundings. The school primarily shapes the students for an entry into the NDA. So the training is designed with a military             The aim behind clubbing games and literary activities is to bring about a fairly good blend of academic as well as co-curricular quality among the students. Over the years Sainik School Tilaiya has set some benchmarks in the academic, co-curricular and extra curricular fields which have rightly made it one of the premier institutions in the country besides making it the best school in the state of Jharkhand.
This Website has been inaugurated by our Hon' able Principal, Cdr Mahesh Kandpal on 16th Sep 2004 on the occasion of 41st Founder's Day & Old Boys Meet.
